So many athletes completely neglect calisthenic training. Calisthenic
training is not very glamorous and many people don't think it look as cool as
benching. The fact of the matter, however, is that calisthenic training
is great way to increase strength. Individuals who have been
training with a basic weight lifting program for some time should consider
changing their training.
Not only do calisthenics increase strength, but they can help build
endurance. Often they work smaller stabilization muscles which are not
worked in basic weight lifting exercises.
